omg...
this is just so stupid, first they say "Free website builder!" well, yea... BUILDER is free, but PUBLISHING costs! and there is no way you can save your hard work as .html, they automatically save it as bluevodas own .bvp or something like that, and there's no way you can use your just made site what took 1 whole week to make nice beautifull website, on other hosts. like.. freewebs, or bravenet... sigh.. you can't get those codes out of that program.. DO NOT USE THIS, unless you want to pay for host, even there is good free hosts out there! if someone knows any good website builder, please tell me one..

Great Program AND Support!
I agree with ThunderCloud...................READ the front page!!!! It is not free, why would it be free? I have signed up, did my web page, no problems, PAID for an account (which by the way is VERY cheap compared to some others). I found the support fast and very helpful!
Don't know what you guys are talking about, I would recommend this to anyone!!

Its a great program, but...
... it tries to force you to use their publishing services. This is not a con. They are cheap AND good.
For those who cannot stand paying for things they use: you can always copy the code after making the layout and create your own HTML doc. The code will need to be edited though; image links will need to be fixed and maybe some other things.

Dont Be a Cheapo
All you morons and idiots who are crying about it not being free should get a job….They tell you upfront on the download page that you must have a voda account in order to publish, what more do you want? It is the best software around, there company offers top class support and tons of other products for $7.95 a month, you dick cheeses who want to publish for free are going to get a lot of unpleasant surprises from the so called free web hosts. The free web hosts can take your free site down at any time, place ads all over it and steal your traffic, voda does not do any of that, they offer a premium service at a very affordable price. Don’t be cheap, in this life, you get what you pay for.

It is not free
First time I download BV, I think it's free. But unfortunetelly I have to pay for publish my web. I hope I can copy the script to notepad and save as html. And also upload picture template to my web, so it can still free for use.

Total absence of manual or help file.
First impression trying out: brilliantly simple to construct pages (particularly handling images). Then the disillusion: the only help is their (admittedly good) tutorials: after that, it is impossible to search for a topic that is causing you problems. There is no manual, printed or downloadable, and no help file. I cannot contemplate trying to manage a site without such essential tools.

No customer support and false advert.
The main page CLAIMS no spy way adware and so on. But in fact it contains the win32.jolla.a aka worm in the main exe program. Avast anti virus caught it before it loaded onto my machine.
Junk program with Junk support.

Easy to use, but SUCKS!!!
It's easy to use, but DON'T USE IT! I wasted two weeks making an awesome website, only to discover I have to buy into a costly publishing service. Although everything they say is true, they don't tell you that you must pay to publish your website. BIGGEST. WASTE. OF. TIME. EVER.

Okay, so it can be done.
So I found a few people that have gotten aroung the BS and have figured out how to use them and a free host. I just can't figure it out!
I am not a computer wiz. I can figure stuff out, but I need help! Any one wanna share?!
I have a great layout and wanted to have my first web page....I was so excited......

Horrible code
The code it creates is bloated and absolutely horrible. If you're interested in web standards at all, don't use this.

You have to pay?
They are a company, they are in business, period! I don't work for free and I don't know of anyone else that does.
How much? No more or less then any other hosting company $7.95mo, your site needs a host.
Alternatives? Buy Front Page or Dreamweaver for hundreds to get similar quality and still pay your host.
Use an online site builder like at Go Daddy which ends up costing more per month and has limited templates. Blue Voda offers an online builder as well.
You still have to buy your domain names.
If you want free it comes with drawbacks such as AdSense plastered on the site, no unique domain (you have to be on a subdomain), and feature limitation. They have to make money too.
They do tell you that you must use their hosting service up front. Gotta use someone right?
Many features that others charge extra for they give for free such as extremely detailed stats.
I have over 400 pages published with Voda. Third and last service I have tried.
I have all my domains parked at Go Daddy then point the name servers over to Voda Host. This way I buy cheap domains at GD and pay one hosting account with Voda. I save $100 a month doing this instead of hosting each site separately.
I do wish they had phone service and that would be the only drawback. The help desk was always pretty quick when I had questions though.

Hate It!!!!
I thought this crap was good, i mean it is.. its really easy to use! it gives you alot of good options and resources and all that shit, but then when u waste your time to make the site, it asks you to pay to publish it!!!!!!!!!!! why the fuck didnt they tell us so we dont waste our time! all of my friends closed down their sites just so they could co manage mine, but now i got no site! what the hell am i suppost to do.

Great Software!
If you want to make your own website, without having any other text in your http, such as www.piczo.com/alec's site. but instead, you'll be able to put any name you want, as long as you want! www.whatsup.com and it will stay like that forever!
another thing is that the site wont be published until its done, and people can't come to it until its completely finished! and after you can re-edit it and add more things. Some website builders don't allow you to add videos, but this one does!
even flash files. If you wanna make your own forums or votes, you can do it here! the best part about learning this software, is that there's always tutorials to help you with whatever you need help. Alot of websites have been made with BlueVoda, but they're all different! you can't even tell that they're made with the same program, so take your imagination to the next level and create your own website... and you never know.. it might end up really popular.

yo i dont rlly talk like this im jus trying to tell u about it.

One pro, many cons
Cons:Blue Voda is very deceptive in a number of ways. They don't tell you that costly publishing with them is required. They have no support/service. Transfer of files from one computer to another is very problematic/impossible. They put in fine print that you agree to have your CC automatically charged every year for hosting services. They call this a courtesy. Actually a courtesy would be to be up front and invoice your cust. so they have the option of either renewing or quitting. Makes it easy to get ripped off. They downright lie about service/support. Pro:Easy to use.
