Highly Recommend Bluevoda and VodaHost!
I am pretty much computer illiterate. I was easily able to create a website using BlueVoda's website builder. It was easy to publish and I have received incredibly helpful, efficient customer support from them! They are so patient and have helped me in any way they can. I would definitely recommend VodaHost! I don't agree with the reviews below. My experiences have all been great!

Publisher not verified
I thought I try blue voda out but the only problem is when I tried to download thier software on my computer it was saying the publisher could not be verified. Did this happen to anyone else? That alone was a red flag to me and now reading these negative comments am glad I dindt go head and download anyway. Guess I will keep looking.

Thanks! and check out site spinner.
Thanks for the insite into bluevoda I will steer clear of them. I have been checking out some html editors I have gone thru 5 editors so far. At this point I have one that I like so far above all the rest I have seen. Its called site spinner you get a free version of if you like its a little bit limited but not bad. That version is called web dwarf. Site spinner costs about $50. I am still looking to find other editors out there to play with. Hope that this info is helpful.

Fundamental communication is lacking
Wow, having read all the articles and complaints, am I glad I did, I have all day been trying to get into the forum to get some sort of answer to my question. they have no other way of support apart from the FAQ which does not tell me what I want to know. So that was second best. For whatever reason I am not allowed in. I am going to remove the builder from my computer. there must be others. Its a waste of time. they say what you get for nothing is worth nothing... amen!!! I can not find the answer in their extensive FAQ so I go to the forum. I have joined, and now I can not post a thread. If I have to buy something before they will service what they sell they should say so. If that is in fact not the case, why do I get excluded from the forum. I am a newbie and have some questions for anyone who is helpful. I think it is as well to steer well clear of these sharks, they are part of the whole shark invested net scenario. Very few honarable people by the looks of it.

Bluevoda are theives.
If you have anything to do with this company you are making the mistake of your life. There is no support, it is really not possible to publish. They register your domain name in their own name (Brad Costello founder of Bluevoda) If you cancel(and you will) with them they will steal your domain. I registered the name 'Spirit of the Big.com with them and they sold it to an airline company. All those favourable reviews you see are written by Bluevoda staff, or by those who are just getting started. My organization is in the process of suing Bluvoda and getting the word out to every search engine and blog. These people are criminals.

Dont use Blue Voda Publishing
The Blue Voda website builder is brilliantly easy to use. I like many others, I thought you are restricted to using their web hosting. You are not. There are many exellent professional web hosts that may offer a better service for you. I use an Australian one. When you preview your site in the web builder, it is stored in a temporary folder - all of it. So you just upload all the files (except the one marked no links) from that folder to your new server. The only complication is where your homepage links to others. Get an html editor (there are many free ones you can download), and use that to adjust the links in the html coding. I am no expert on html but it is easy to do and doesnt take that long. In the end you have a wonderful site that you have created for nothing. The BV web builder is fantastic.

free//Blue Voda
I like how you all CRY about having to pay for hosting with BV. The website builder is good and easy to use. There is alot of stuff I don't know how to use and played around with like content managers and shopping carts. But I learned alot. The hosting is fine. I am not sure if it is good or not/fast or slow. Time will tell I guess. I just know that I can afford to pay 10 bucks per month for the service. You usually have to pay to have a site designed. You have to pay to host. Nothing is free. If you can't afford 10 bucks...... stay on myspace or surf porn because you are a waste.

Sitesell-Think hard and long before you purchase it
Recently I purchased the hyped sitesell and was I dissapointed. They send me an access password that did not WORK. I e-mailed the "help desk" and they went round and round with no solution. I finally cancelled and then I realized they are a fraud. They say it's risk free! They will keep some of your money if you don't cancel on time. Anyway, I arrived here in search of a site. Thanks to all of you because you have just saved me from another nightmare-Bluvoda

Blue Voda Support
I'm not a techie so I loved the ease of creating good looking web pages. I knew it would cost me for hosting and had no problem with that. However, when I had to rebuild after a computer virus, I couldn't get a straight answer as to why I couldn't open it (blue voda cannot open, or something like that). I kept getting the same answer (that didn't work and I told them that). I finally got so pissed off I YELLED AT THEM, DON'T YOU READ WHATS IN MY MESSAGE? I got a very negative response that I better not yell at them, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME. So very unprofessional, being they were the problem in the first place. Now I'm in the same situation with them with a slightly different problem, it just wont work. I cleaned the registry, cccleaner, etc. The problem now is when I install it, it appears to have loaded (shows up in programs, but I don't get the 'new program added' in the start menu), and it doesn't show up in the registry at all. I've done what they've told me and now they are telling me I have to use another registry cleaner that costs $30, I refuse to now pay for a (third) program to fix their program and now I don't know what to do. Is there a way to backup programs downloaded (rather than added by CD)? I hate their so called support but have managed to stay clear of them with the exception of starting over with a clean system.

Excellent Builder. Not so Excellent host
i thought this program was a builder. PERIOD. it's not. it is a wonderful program however you have to use their web host. there are ways around this though. i had a sit on a different domain. and downloaded blue voda to work on it. it is really easy to use. but you can only publish if you have a hosting account with them unless you save your pages as html. and ftp them to your domain

Publishing without Bluevoda
You are able to create a webpage with Bluevoda. Before you should like to publish it you have to preview it in own computer browser. In this case BlueVoda create an Temp folder with name "Preview" . For example in Windows you can find it "C:\....Local Setting\Temp\Preview\ ". This is normally a Hiden folder. You are able to make a Shortcut to your Desktop without problem. In this folder you can find the complet side in html form. You are able edit it in an other Html editor also or simple Publish it with your own FTP. Good work for you, an have a nice day !!
