PageSucker for Mac was fully tested by TopShareware Labs. It does not contain any kind of malware, adware and viruses.
PageSucker was written in the highly portable language Java. This means that it can run on any platform you can find a Java interpreter for. You can think of a Java interpreter as a kind of helper program needed to launch PageSucker.
MacOS X users can keep the built-in Java interpreter up to date simply by using the Software Update control panel.
For Windows and selected UNIX platforms, get the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from SUN.

    PageSucker stalling
I've tried it out on my Mac Pismo PowerBook with a G4 upgrade, 1Gb RAM, running os x 10.3.9. Sometimes it works great...fast and efficient. Sometimes too efficient. I tried setting the page grab to 300 but one time it downloade 8648 files!! True, most were 0-20 HTML files, but that many?! The problem is it goes into a stall mode. The rainbos wheel just keeps spinning till I force quit the app. It is the same pattern a quick start, a few files grabbed, then the log splash screen comes up at the bottom and it's all over. I'd like to know if this is uninque cause I'd like to purchase it. Frank Costa [email protected]
