    Starmsg again
I have received a letter from a solicitors saying legal action will be taken. They said I confirmed a txt message by a pin number and confirmed by email. Do not remember either. I asked which web site I had done this through as I wanted to see the terms and conditions. They told me www.txt-britain.co.uk. Wen I went to the site I definitely would not have signed up for a site advertising free texts for £99. I may have clicked yes to terms and conditions without reading them. Foolish I know but lots of us do it, unfortunately. I certainly do not remember using the service.

    STARMSG CON
I also got a letter from Arvato finance, telling me to pay before april 20th, i do not want a CCJ,this is the last thing i want,as i am applying for a mortgage, so i asked if i can pay in installments, they said ok, so i paid £20 to arvato, then this morning i got email from starmsg saying thank you for payment, your current balance is £97.30, but the balance at the start was £107.90, so they only credited £10.60 from the balance, what do i do, i dont want CCJ,even if it is a scam, can they still give me a CCJ,and will this go on my history? please help

    the crooks at starmsg.co.uk
Beware this IS a con. These people are trying to threaten me with Court Action and bailiffs. I'm not even sure whether they are the same organisation as Starmsg.com. I suspect that their software contains a phishing program as they have sent me a bill for £109 and got my name wrong but enough of my address right for me to receive the letter. They are quoting a credit card number (last six digits) which I do not recognise. Do not pay - their processes are not legal under English law.

I also get the letter form starmsg . They want 149 GBP set up fee + 10 GBP for late payment. I will not pay them anything. I register on this website hope that it is tottaly free. And I didnt send any sms since that time. After 2 months they send me a stupid letter . I live in Italy . It is interesting how do they get the money?

    Been Duped
I also signed up for free, only I got stung with a £149 set-up fee as opposed to the £99 fee. Phoned them and said i wouldnt have the money til friday, then read the agreement and found that i was being overcharged and so i emailed saying i wanted to terminate the contract as per the agreement. They emailed back a one sentence reply stating, "due to the conversation you had with my Colleague, this email is not important". They still want the money. Phoned trading standards and yet they agree that they got me by the jiggly's. Plus its 2 weeks before christmas....scrooge or what?

    Another letter
I received yet another letter saying "you must have forgot to pay" yer right I dont think so! 90 off pounds and now they have added on another £10 late payment fees! it is such a con. I only went through them because it was free, it says all over their website it is free. Has anyone out there are suggestions as to what will happen if I dont pay? They said they will instruct a Bailiff? This company should be stuck off

Starmsg is the dumest thing ive ever used.
i signed up for it as well believeing that the site was free, what a waste of time. because i was not sure about whether or not this site was a con or not, to be safe i posted them a cheque by recorded delivery, and guess what, they sent me another letter askin me to pay. i laughed so hard, im not stupid enough to pay them by transferin from an account and i most certainly would not do it any other way then by cheque. the money has been sent and it they keep trying to make out that they dont have it then it is there problem. not mine, i have proof. If any of you out there have joined with them and havent paid anything then dont worry about it, its a con and they clearly do not state the charges when u sign up. They will go down and out of business soon, tricks get u no where.

Does not look like a ligitimate website
The website starmsg.co.uk all looks a little suspicious to me and does not look very legitimate. In the term and conditions it says it is under german law which cannot be right. I will not be paying them

Do they take you to court if you dont pay con set up fee?
This company is totally disgusting, it says all over the internet it is fee then they hide the set up fee of an huge amount of £95! Its a con and should not be allowed. What does happpen if you do not sent the money? Does anyone out there know?
