Uses the standard Windows API to communicate with any device connected to a serial port. Includes 32 functions plus modem control, ANSI emulation, ASCII/XMODEM/YMODEM protocols, harware and software flow control, and multiple examples. Is port re-entrant, can control multiple ports simultaneously and is fully thread safe. Can send Windows messages on completion of events (incoming character, etc.). Includes 16-bit and 32-bit DLL versions. Works with all versions of Xbase++. Does not depend on support libraries. Makes calls to Windows API functions only.
