Lot of features...easy to use...great support!
We needed a system to track time, expenses, and issues. ThinMind was the only product we could find that had all three integrated together.
Getting started was easier than expected. We used an online quick start wizard to get most of the setup data into the system. We had a couple of strange requirements which we were able to implement with a little help from a ThinMind support representative (who was most helpful).
Tool is totally web-based and accessible to everyone on our team regardless of their location which made collecting time and expenses much easier. It also provides on-line approvals which has drastically reduced our administrative time.
We have been using the tool for over 3 months and would highly recommend it to any other 20-50 organizations like us.

The price tag is thin, so are the features.
ThinMind offers four different modules which you can integrate together. All modules are accessible online and each module is competitively priced at $10 per month per user. The design is clean as opposed to other tracking and billing software and they even customize it with your company’s logo at the top.
If you happen to have a specific problem with one of the listed module names, Issue Tracking, Expense Reporting, Time Tracking, Project Management, then you are in luck. ThinMind offers a cheap easy fix to your problem. But don’t mistake this for something it’s not. The software does not go beyond those four categories.
ISSUE TRACKING: The module offers a very strict system to make sure issues are dealt with. It is very similar to the project management module but more issue specific. It also generates nice reports showing the course the resolution has taken. You can also attach documents to the issue which would seem helpful.
EXPENSE REPORTING: I like the reports this module generates. It’s very beneficial for those trying to keep detailed records of their expenses. The problem is who wants to have a page of details you can’t do anything with. The reports are too detailed to send as bills to a client. And it doesn’t integrate with any accounting software so when you need to get paid for these expenses someone would have to then type all the information up.
TIME TRACKING: This module is the expense reporting’s evil step sister. Not only does it keep incredible track of the time but then you can’t do anything with it. With reports that show the actual cost of time billed and time estimated you can’t send the bills to clients, not even by a stretch of the imagination. So why would you want a time tracking system that you can not do anything with? There is also an approval function which allows all timesheets to be submitted through an administrator before they…. before they what? Get printed out? This also seems a bit useless.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Project Management is a great project management tool. It lets you assign tasks and rolls to people across business and departments. There is a convenient place for documents relating to the project and an easy way to view progression. I give ThinMind props for a module that takes an amorphous process and puts it into a clear form for manageability.
