Problems with free offer of virus scan
I bought a package of Spyware Doctor on August 2009 (Invoice Number 10948010, expiry 4 August 2010). My computer was 32 bits and running on OS Windows XP. Now I have a laptop 64 bits and Windows 7. I installed SD without problems and was using it for thre months. Yesterday I received by mail your offer of adding the Anti-virus for free If I want to renew the lincence for SD. I did and I received your antivirus. In the mean time I have avast anti virus. When installing your free antivrius. A conflict happened. This has affected the olaunching of the porogram. No shutdown. Outlook express started giving me the error "window did not open." After a couple of hour of trials, I managed to remove SD components.restored the outlook using MS support "outlook.exe /resetnavpane." NOW
I am ready to continue with SD without the virus scan or contune with the virus scan if there are no more conflicts. Most important I want a copy of SD compatible with the W7 OS. This is my condition for renewal of SD licence that will expire on 4 August 2010. I will not install the virus scan unless you guarntee me that there will be no problems. Exellent Program - efficient and easy to use
I have been using this program for about 9 months now - downloaded quickly and installed instantly - I have children playing all kinds of free games on my pc - which free games + limewire = adware and even a couple of trojans - this program not only caught them as soon as they hit my pc, it cleaned them out as well.
