An Visual Studio 2008 program for Microsoft Windows XP and Vista. It simulates a POS(point of sales) system. It may also be used for other non catering retails. It is very easy to use.This program can also be used just as local area networks message board, promotional displays or reservations.
It is a Green program that it can be used with one or more printers or without printers. Support for LAN(local area networks) with one Host and as many as Clients(in theory), ordering(only) with Windows Mobile 5 PDA handheld devices that has exchange/sync folder in the Host PC; touch screen monitor/display; ESC/POS (Epson TM-T88III, Posiflex PP7000 and compatible) receipt printers.
Most commands can be assigned to different levels of staff.
Tables can be set to different sizes, sections and positions.
Table and takeaway operations can be done all in one screen tables: different colours to reflect then status of tables and takeaway orders; different colours to identify new, on-hold and issued orders; graphical menu(optional pictures for items); calculator, payment options and details, GST and surcharge.
Takeaway and Table orders can be taken simultaneously by switching from one to the other.
It includes a local internal message system, record of reservations, promotional displays, kitchen/bar order queue monitor, table changing/swapping, moving orders, export with/without MS Excel, summary reports, detail reports and background printings.
It also supports future GST percentage changes and printing from any LAN PC.
