FOps v1.0 is an ActiveX control performing following functions: file search, file information, file/folder operations.
FOps v1.0 is an ActiveX control performing following functions: file search, file information, file/folder operations.
The control scans recursively selected folder looking for files matching user-defined pattern such as name, size or text content. The control supports simultaneous search for different files (for example can search for text files and images at the same time).
Control returns information on specified input file, such as size, attributes, type, name, path, name of associated executable, etc. Control can also call standard object properties dialog to display information about a file or directory.
The control performs standard file and folder operations: copy, move, delete and delete to recycle bin. During file operations the control presents users with standard behaviour, i. e. shows progress, asks for permission for deleting files, etc.
The control features built-in folder browser for easy selection of target/destination.
The browser allows users to create new directories.
The control also includes functions for checking existence of files and directories.
