I have been using this program for more than three years. Secretmaker has stoppen all popups unwanted cookies and all intruders. It is a great program. I have not used its spam protection and I have not recived any spam from Secretmaker.

    Secetmaker privacy software
I've been using Secretmaker for a couple of years now. I've downloaded updates when they became available. The program has done a great job for me. I use it in addition to my anti-virus program. I use the privacy protector, the pop-up blocker, the banner blocker, the cookie eraser(and cookie white list), and the browser, windows, and office cleaners(to get rid of old files from history, temp folders, etc.). I have used most of the other features in Secretmaker too, but found them not necessary for me. I would hate to do without it anymore. If I had to find any fault with Secretmaker, it would be that it tends to be too restrictive. For instance, I get a lot of junk mail I want to read without getting a warning or having to hit a key to be able to see what it is. However some people would like that. After all, thats what the program is supposed to do. Protect you from unwanted ads or offensive promotions, and hide your identity from the people who send out that kind of garbage, or worse. I certainly recommend Secretmaker. You can get other programs that do not perform any better but do cost $30 and more. I have never gotten a spam mail from Secretmaker or because of downloading it. Maybe some of the sites that offer it as a download put you on a list? It is Shareware and it's free, and some, maybe most shareware sites are supported by advertisers.

    So Far So Very Good
After using this tool for a few months it has proved its worth and has not caused me any problems. With the range of available functions one can choose to activate, one is sure to find something(s) in it for them. Notably in one click, get rid of adds and increase your surfing speed, erase your traces. Stop unwanted programs from installing without you knowing and hijacking your start-up menu. Project a false identity to unsolicited demands. Soon to come, a proxy for even higher anonymity and other functions that are currently under constructions. To top that, its light and free. Till I am proved wrong, this is a very good program…the rest is up to you.

    Products to beware of
You get what you pay for. Downloading their free software opened my email box to an abundance of spam from this company. i could not find any use for their software and now i am stuck on their spam list it seems.

I am sure that I am not the only one who is getting reallty tired of the increase in SPAM. It is offensive that a company that is acting like they are responsible in how they communicate to the masses...is actually a SPAMMER! If I had surfed around and found the software...I may have tried it.. Since they SPAMMED me... I will pass on using the software and letter others know about the marketing tecniques they use.
