This utility is mostly useful for viewing the Call Histories and Personal Directories. The GUI is nice but carries the typical XP cartoon scheme. It really doesn't give you much more than you'd get from the Phone's own GUI. It does allow you to maintain the Directory without the cryptic command line the phone GUI requires. It is somewhat difficult to figure out how to select the first device you ID for it at the beginning; click at the very right end of the 'Select Device' line where it will change color, no other indication that this is here. As for adding the second device, well, I couldn't figure out how to add it. The manual in it is non-existant. As it does talk to the phone already, it would be incredibly useful if it could make the phone dial from the SPA Call Manager by selecting something, but it doesn't offer that function on this revision. Does successfully install and remove itself from XP at least, so maybe worth a try if you just want to use the display, logging and very simple configuration tools it offers.
