System Information & Comparison is a wonderful product. As a network administrator I have to manage lot of systems on my LAN and often quite a few systems don’t work for some unknown reason. Then I have to troubleshoot them looking for problems one after another. The product helped me save a lot of troubleshooting hours because using it I can save system configuration information for a working computer and compare it with the one that is causing problems. The best part is that the product is offered at a very reasonable. Particularly I liked the following features in System Information & Comparison: I can remotely connect to machines in my network and capture and analyze system configuration locally or remotely. I can set preferences for configuration information that I need. Also, system configuration of a working system can be saved as master configuration for later use. I can do canonically comparisons between multiple systems configurations and compare system configuration against saved master configuration. And, I can save comparison information for later use. Take a look at the user friendly interface offered by the application in the following screen shoot of the application. Although there are some features that can make the application more powerful such as the ability to restore a system that fails to boot at all. But, features like this may be incorporated by the vendor in later versions. In short System Information & Comparison worked for me for several reasons. First of all it allow saving system information such as devices and drivers installed, services, processes, etc. That saves a lot of troubleshooting hours and the information can be saved and analyzed later at a convenient time. Secondly, the price I very reasonable and most of all the support is free.
