Do NOT buy The Shield Deluxe 2008, no support!
I had the shield deluxe 2007 and it worked fine. After upgrading to the shield deluxe 2008, it causes blue screen lockups associated with the klif.sys file. Customer support is virtually non existent. Runaroud with requests to live chat. After an hour of waiting between 5 and 10 minuted for each relpy, all I got acvomplished was to remove and re-install the software and the problem still existed. They keep e-mailing me that it will be escilated to a level 2 tech and then a level 1 tech asks me to live chat again... vicous circle with no results

Steer clear of this one.
I worked for 4 hours to get this anti virus installed. I contacted tech support and received steps to follow, but unfortunately, there were steps left out. I kept calling for help and was finally told to uninstall and reinstall--which I did three times. Then, suddenly for an hour and a half, no one would answer the phone. The Live Chat didn't work either.
They did give a refund, but charged me $3 for this awful experience. I'll stick with Norton for now.
