I have a registered version and I have also hit the limit of 28 video segments that can be added to the storyboard. This program is a delight to use and has many powerful features. Unfortunately it also has major limitations and I would suggest looking further afield before starting work on a major project.

If any one who has the AVS Video Editor 3.5 please let me know something. I am making a video that uses lots of cut videos and when I go to add more it tells me "you have exceeded the number of videos that can be compiled." If you have the registered version may you tell me if you can add more of those boxes down their on the reel? So far I have counted the boxes and there is only 29. I want more. downloaded AVS video editor trial version and I find no instructions on operation the program. I tried to brighten the video and the preview does not show the change I adjusted for. Whats up?. Where's the help?

I have been trying for days and days to get my registration code and instructions so I can get rid of the company logo that is splattered on my videos! Love the program, but the vendors suck as to getting me the needed code that I paid for and now they are not delivering!! Any suggestions out there???

Why are there no real reviews of this program? just Robotic links to sites repeating the same phrases over and over. Does this program suck?

Program does exactly what I needed and does it perfectly. Only problem I had was loading the product key after I paid for the full version about an hour after I loaded the free trial version because I liked it so much. I have lots of conversion software (DVD-AVI, AVI to other formats) and I just wanted something simple to edit the large AVIs into manageable sized clips for conversion for my web pages. The problem with multifunction software is it tries to do too much and either does nothing well, or does one or two things well and the rest poorly so you still need other tools to do it right (like having just one tool in the kitchen, ridiculous). This is an easy to use intuitive program that does what it says it does with nice clean renderings, and I'll be using it a lot.
