Very strange - you're the only one with a problem with PackIt.
I've been using PackIt for 5 yrs and never had a problem - my Kerio firewall would've alerted me. Your computer must have been virus infected.

PackIt Calls Home?
This is precisely why I rarely download freeware.
For an unstated reason this software seems to want to access 75.126.55.108.
And now the xtrimsoft.com website seems to be offline.
I advise beginners to stay away from this software.
