The concept of multi-region DVD's on you laptop is great. This player in general is reasonably well furnished with required functions. However, it plays only about 60% of DVD's (no matter what region) without error. The application locks up in many places, and doesn't play some discs at all. The claim to play all discs guranteed is false. I purchase this player, and attempted to seek technical support on a few occassions without any success. There may well be a conflict in my installation, but no help to resolve it. Very disappointed
