HONESTECH VHS TO DVD REVIEWS

Tech Support???
If 'good tech support' means prompt tech support, perhaps we need to redefine the term, 'prompt.' I e-mailed Honestech two weeks agao, and again, several days ago. No response. Meanwhile, my 4-week old VHS to DVD unit/program is no longer providing video capture, regardless of numerous uninstall-reinstalls. Thus far, my experience with Honestech indicates that they provide NO tech support. The unit doesn't cost much, but beware: if your experience is like mine, you're completely on your own as far as dealing with tech problems. Perhaps do what I should have done: stick to a Hauppauge USB-PRV.

VHS to DVD 3.0 - Great software
Pros - Easy to use, allows you to convert your VHS tapes to DVD, good tech support. Cons - capture device does not come with the standard version, need to have a fairly new computer to run smoothly. I was able to transfer my old home movies to DVD without any problems. Had a little trouble installing, but the tech support provided fast help and I was converting my movies in no time. I recommend this product if you are looking for a way to convert your VHS tapes to DVDs.
