dbSketch is the first database design and modeling tool specifically written for application developers -- not DBAs, analysts, or theorists. dbSketch lets you design your schema quickly and easily, using IDEF1x notation, and export it to a SQL script instantly. It supports in-place editing (like erWin) and modal editing (like Dezign.) You can even jump-start your design by importing an existing SQL DDL. You can color and style the diagram for presentation, then print it across multiple pages or export it to PNG. Finally, it uses a simple XML file format, allowing it to fit smoothly into any source control environment.
dbSketch supports Oracle 9 and 10, MySQL 4 and 5, and Postgres 8, on both Mac OS X and Windows XP/2000.
