Outlook Padlock is our new security encryption mechanism for Microsoft Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003. It integrates into Outlook by adding a new toolbar amongst the other Outlook toolbars. Outlook Padlock lets you encrypt one or many messages in-place just by pressing a button on the toolbar and entering a password. That means the messages are stored privately and securely in your Outlook message store (the .PST file that holds all your Outlook information). To read your message(s) again, just click the button and enter the password. The encryption and decryption of email messages happens inplace and instantly. Nothing could be easier.
